繼97年以精神病學為題的《La Moindre des choses》、享譽影壇的名作《山村猶有讀書聲》（Être et Avoir）後，法國大師尼古拉．菲利伯特以電影探索「體制心理療法」的可能性，抵制對精神病的污名化與去人性化。
The Adamant is a unique daycare centre: it is a floating structure. Located on the Seine in the heart of Paris, it welcomes adults suffering from mental disorders, offering them care that grounds them in time and space, and helps them to recover or keep up their spirits. The team running it is one of those that try to resist the deterioration and dehumanization of psychiatry as best it can. The film invites us to board it and meet the patients and caregivers who invent its life day to day.
