失智父親漸漸遺忘家人與過往，兒子意欲創造一部時光機，喚醒那些被遺忘的時光。
中國藝術家馬良的父親是京劇名導馬科。當馬良意識到父親患上阿茲海默症，他決定以父子經歷為故事靈感，創作大型木偶舞台劇《爸爸的時光機》，並邀請父親一同參與。過程中經歷感動、衝突、失望、鼓舞⋯⋯木偶劇成功在上海上演，機械齒輪一轉再轉，美好時光被重拾和反芻，但記憶終將消逝。
When artist Maleonn realizes that his father suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, he creates “Papa’s Time Machine,” a magical, autobiographical stage performance featuring life-size mechanical puppets. Through the production of this play, the two men confront their mortality before the eternal loss of memories.
