《孤注》是一部關於心理創傷的紀錄片，然而，這樣的命題似乎注定充滿冒險與博弈。
經歷過父親自殺與丈夫車禍離世的佟梅梅、12歲曾遭陌生老人性侵的姚尚德，各自抱著期望治癒同路人的初衷而答應參與拍攝。攝影機先後介入創傷者的日常生活，二人無可避免地重揭夢魘般的傷疤，也誠實地表達了身為被拍攝者的不安，故事遂走往反省紀錄片倫理與邊界的方向，身為導演的周浩也無法獨善其身，不得不面對紀錄片的「原罪」。
Tong’s father committed suicide when she was little, and she lost her husband in her middle age. Despite all this, she has become a psychologist and tries her best to heal others. Sunteck, who has isolated himself after being raped by a stranger at the age of 12, resorts to mime art to explore pains and advocate for changes.
ALL IN follows Tong and Sunteck, both of whom suffer from traumas, and reveals how they each deal with pain and loss while inspiring others with their professions. Meanwhile, the film also reflects on the role of filmmaking itself, which suggests a respectful, humane approach to documentary filmmaking.
